چکیده

We investigated a general theory accounting for the guidance of ongoing movements in an interceptive reaching task. The aim was to assess the premise of tau-coupling that the coupling constant k, the ratio of taus (s) of motion gaps between hand and object, reflects the kinematics of the on-going movement. The spatial and temporal constraints of the interceptive action were manipulated in three task conditions. While the time dependent counterpart of k, (t) exhibited task effects, k itself could not distinguish between task manipulations. (t) showed large variability during the initial acceleration phase, small variability during the rest of the movement, and task dependent changes during the final deceleration phase of interception. The findings highlight the importance of clarifying what constitutes as -coupling.

Inhibitory effect of corcin on aggregation of 1N/4R human tau protein in vitro

Objective(s):Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common age-related neurodegenerative disorder. One of the hallmarks of AD is an abnormal accumulation of fibril forms of tau protein which is known as a microtubule associated protein. In this regard, inhibition of tau aggregation has been documented to be a potent therapeutic approach in AD and tauopathies. Unfortunately, the available syntheti...

P 97: Neurodegeneration Induced by Tau protein

Tau is one of several types of microtubule-associated proteins (MAPs), responsible for the assembly and stability of microtubule networks that is present only in neurons and predominantly localized in axons which its functions are tightly regulated by phosphorylation. Via as yet unknown mechanisms, tau becomes hyperphosphorylated and accompanies with neuronal degeneration, loss of synapses...

Ranks of modules relative to a torsion theory

Relative to a hereditary torsion theory $tau$ we introduce a dimension for a module $M$, called {em $tau$-rank of} $M$, which coincides with the reduced rank of $M$ whenever $tau$ is the Goldie torsion theory. It is shown that the $tau$-rank of $M$ is measured by the length of certain decompositions of the $tau$-injective hull of $M$. Moreover, some relations between the $tau$-rank of $M$ and c...

On $Phi$-$tau$-quasinormal subgroups of finite groups

‎Let $tau$ be a subgroup functor and $H$ a $p$-subgroup of a finite group $G$‎. ‎Let $bar{G}=G/H_{G}$ and $bar{H}=H/H_{G}$‎. ‎We say that $H$ is $Phi$-$tau$-quasinormal in $G$ if for some $S$-quasinormal subgroup $bar{T}$ of $bar{G}$ and some $tau$-subgroup $bar{S}$ of $bar{G}$ contained in $bar{H}$‎, ‎$bar{H}bar{T}$ is $S$-quasinormal in $bar{G}$ and $bar{H}capbar{T}leq bar{S}Phi(bar{H})$‎. ‎I...
